Barter Smokestack Large Dining Table counter stool layered with fresh ginger heatThe Smokestack Dining Table is a solid wood table made from sustainably harvested western hemlock sourced from British Columbia's Sunshine Coast. In this piece, the tree grains are the heroes of the design: two thick slabs form the table top, with a half inch gap between the slabs resembling stacked piles of lumber at the mill paying homage to the craft and allowing wood to simply be wood. The two bases, with their changing angles, give the experience
